The Resort at Longboat Key Club is located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Sarasota. Our island is perfectly situated amidst the abundant cultural activities of the Sarasota area and just one mile from famous St. Armands Circle, home to international shops, galleries and restaurants.

The Resort features 232 newly decorated rooms and suites, all with private balconies and most with full kitchens.

Guests can enjoy 45 holes of championship golf, 38 Har-Tru tennis courts, heated swimming pool, bicycling, fishing, a state-of-the-art fitness center, massage therapy and miles of white sand beach. Four unique restaurants offer casual to formal dining and The Pointe Lounge offers live entertainment.

All rooms and suites feature minibars, safes, hair dryers, iron and board, bathrobes, coffee makers, data ports and private balconies.

Standard Guest Room:
One king-size or two twin (not double) beds, a dressing area, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker and a private balcony.

Club Suites:
One king-size bed in a spacious living/sleeping area, a queen-size sleeper sofa plus a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, large dressing area and a private balcony.

One & Two Bedroom Suites:
One-bedroom suites feature a private master bedroom with one king-size bed and dressing area. The suite includes a large living/ dining room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, complete kitchen, washer dryer and private balcony.

Two bedroom suites have a king-size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom. The bedrooms include dressing areas and are separated by a large living room with queen-size sleeper sofa, complete kitchen, washer/dryer and private balcony.
Deluxe Two Bedroom Suites:
The most expansive and luxurious accommodation offering an oversized living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, dining area, complete kitchen and private balcony plus all the features of the two bedroom suite.

With 45 holes of PGA championship holes set in lush tropical settings, two fully-stocked pro shops and a variety of instruction options, it's easy to see why Golf Magazine has consistently awarded The Resort the SILVER MEDAL as an outstanding golf facility.

The Islandside Course
18 holes, Par 72
Designed by Bill Mitchell and opened for play in 1960, this 6, 792 yard "watery challenge" borders the Gulf of Mexico. Water hazards come into play on every hole, palm trees and pink and white blooming Oleanders line the fairways and Longboat Key Club's location in a bird sanctuary make this one of Florida's most beautiful and challenging courses.

The Harbourside Course
27 holes, Par 72
Opened for play in 1982, Harbourside consists of three nine-hole courses designed by Willard Byrd of Atlanta. The Red Course is 3,323 yards; the White Course 3,426 yards; and the Blue Course is 3,386 yards. Bordering Sarasota Bay, the layout provides a completely different golf experience from the Islandside course as you play through stands of live oak, sabal palms, palmetto and southern pine.

The Golf School

Tennis at The Resort at Longboat Key Club

Rated a Top Fifty Tennis Resorts by reviewers at Tennis magazine, The Resort boasts one of the largest tennis facilities in Florida. Guests can play complimentary on 38 Har-Tru courts, six lighted for night play. Tennis hosts are available to arrange games while clinics and private and semi-private lessons are offered by resort professional.

The Resort's two fully stocked tennis pro shops cater to the needs of discriminating sports enthusiasts and lovers of tennis fashion. Those players serious about improving their game, as well as their image, can choose from the latest equipment, tennis wear and accessories.
