There's nothing like dancing to "your song" at your
wedding reception as your first
dance as man and wife and hearing the version performed as you
know it. You can only get that by playing the version of the
song by the original artist. But more than playing the music
at your wedding reception or bachelor party,
a disk jockey needs to be entertaining. He or she is going to
be introducing you and your family to your guests following
the wedding ceremony, "for the first time as husband and wife".
Be
sure to meet at least once with the DJ to discuss carefully
how you, |
your family and the
wedding party will be introduced. Be sure the DJ or master of
ceremonies for your wedding reception knows how to pronounce all the names of the people who
are very important to you. Be sure that everyone in the wedding
party is aware of how the introductions will be handled. You need
to tell them not to disappear right after the ceremony but to be
sure they know you'll be announcing their names. This is
especially important with youngsters in the wedding party. |
